Commander-in-Chief Uhuru Kenyatta Acts The Part… Wears Army Uniform

The president is making a name for himself for being one of the most easy going Head of State.

Every now and then he is seen doing something that is not typical of a president. From dancing with kids, having lunch at a simple hotel..you get the point..he is just an easy going guy.

On Friday morning he was dressed in full military gear as he went to the Validation of Kenya’s pledged forces at Archers Post in Samburu and he was looking sharp. President Moi and Mzee Kenyatta only wore ceremonial uniforms. Kibaki was never seen in any.

Uganda’s Yoweri Museveni and Rwanda’s Paul Kagame however regularly wear army uniforms, perhaps because they were army commanders themselves.
